Unfairness, injustice, and pain eventually come to everyone. Tolstoy said, "It is by those who have suffered that the world has been advanced." We should never permit the shadow of life's unfairness to limit the sunlight of our tomorrow. No "unfairness" in life should be empowered to limit, hinder, or stop our progress. The human spirit grows strong by challenge and resistance. Extraordinary things are accomplished by the ordinary people who simply refuse to allow their struggle to define them. God uses life's unfairness to mold and shape our lives for his greater glory.
